We at NOMINIT are prepared and ready for autumn. An autumn of which we do not really know how it will turn out, and for which the forecasts vary. The pandemic still feels very present, and of course it affects the outside world and the economy. At NOMINIT we continue to look forward to a bright future; so far we have coped well with the situation, we have been able to avoid layoffs and are therefore strong enough to face the time ahead!
Autumn is normally our trade fair time. As it is now, a fair in Finland has been moved from September to December. ELMIA Subcontractor has been completely cancelled, and the third trade fair we were to attend, Fastener Fair in Krakow, Poland, has been moved up. In other words, an uncertain fair trade autumn, again with forecasts pointing in different directions.
Via our digital channels, we will keep you updated about the status of the fairs, and let you know which ones we will participate in. We have now on a small scale resumed physical meetings with customers and suppliers. Of course, all our meetings take place in accordance with the recommendations set by the Swedish Public Health Agency.
In autumn we will also expand the factory building! NOMINIT recently decided to expand the factory with an additional 1300 square meters. An extension that improves our internal logistics, and with which we are adapting to increased volumes.
